About ASAP Flex Plans, Inc.

A plan service provider, ASAP Flex Plans, Inc. (ASAP) offers the following services to small - and medium-sized organizations:

• Flexible Benefit Plan administration under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code;

• Health Reimbursement Arrangement administration under Sections 105 and 106 of the Internal Revenue Code; and,

• Health Savings Account administration under Section 223 of the Internal Revenue Code.

John M. Baird, JD

Mr. Baird is the majority owner of ASAP Flex Plans, Inc. Mr. Baird graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1991 and shortly thereafter established residence in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Baird obtained his license to practice law in October 1991. Although not a practicing attorney, Mr. Baird has maintained his license in good standing with the Indiana bar.

Mr. Baird has approximately thirteen (13) years of experience in the employee benefits arena, including employee relations/communications and legal compliance. A combined (8) of those years were spent with Gardner & White, a third party administrator focused on non-profit organizations with a nationwide presence, and with Nyhart, one of the largest third party administrators in the Midwest. During that period, Mr. Baird handled many issues on behalf of employers including, but not limited to, plan drafting, audit assistance and compliance program submissions.

Thomas J. Masengale, CPP

Mr. Masengale is the minority owner of ASAP Flex Plans, Inc. Mr. Masengale received his certification as a Certified Payroll Professional from the American Payroll Association in 1995. Since then, Mr. Masengale has been an instructor for the Indianapolis Chapter of the APA, training others for this certification.

In addition, Mr. Masengale owns ASAP Payroll Service. Started in 1989, ASAP Payroll Service provides payroll preparation, tax filing and all related services to companies from 1 employee to 5000 employees.

Mr. Masengale received his BS in Business from IUPUI in December, 1983. After graduation, Mr. Masengale worked for H&R Block for 9 years. During his time with them, Mr. Masengale started providing payroll preparation services, leading to the start of ASAP Payroll Service.
